Met B’tjes spaar je samen voor lokale verenigingen

With B’tjes, you and your customers can support local organizations and initiatives together. While shopping, customers receive a token—a B’tje—that they can donate to an organization of their choice.

By giving local organizations a platform in the store, you showcase what’s happening in the neighborhood. Customers can easily support their favorite club or initiative, which adds a little more meaning to their grocery shopping.

This is how you generate positive attention for your supermarket, increase customer engagement, and strengthen your connection with the local community.

Frequently Asked Questions About B’tjes

Can I decide for myself how much sponsorship money is available?

Yes. As a supermarket owner, you decide the total sponsorship amount you’ll make available for the B’tjes concept. At the end of the campaign, this amount will be distributed among the participating clubs based on the number of B’tjes they’ve collected.
This way, you retain control over the available budget, while clubs are rewarded in proportion to the support they’ve received from customers.

A B’tjes campaign lasts an average of eight weeks. That’s long enough for customers to actively participate, collect enough B’tjes, and give the participating organizations plenty of attention.

That’s up to you. Our recommendation is to give customers one “B’tje” for purchases of €15 or more and two “B”s for purchases of €30 or more. Of course, this can be adjusted to suit your preferences and goals.

Clubs can easily register using an online registration form. Once the registration period ends, you’ll receive a list of all registrations. You then decide which clubs will participate in the program. Therefore, registering does not automatically mean that a club will be selected.

No. In addition to sports clubs, music groups, schools, foundations, charities, and other nonprofit organizations can also participate. This way, the concept aligns well with local community life and your supermarket’s commitment to social responsibility.

More Than Just Sponsorship

B’tjes brings customers, organizations, and your supermarket together in an accessible way. Customers support their favorite organization while grocery shopping, while your supermarket demonstrates its active involvement in the community.

This creates a concept that boosts visibility for local initiatives, increases interaction on the store floor, and strengthens your bond with your customers. B’tjes makes local engagement tangible.
